Back for year two, the Phoenix LiDAR SOAR event builds on the momentum of last year’s inaugural event, which featured live manned-aircraft airborne LiDAR demonstrations with a RANGER-U120 on a Robinson R44 helicopter and the RANGER-U240 on a Cessna 182, bringing together attendees from across the geospatial industry representing a wide range of companies and organizations. This year’s event will feature expanded networking opportunities, more live demonstrations, vendor presentations, and hands-on experiences across mobile mapping, UAV, and manned airborne LiDAR workflows—all in Austin, Texas.

While you're free to select your own hotel accommodations outside of the block, please consider that the buses will be picking up and dropping off at the Lone Star Court hotel.
If you choose to stay elsewhere, you will be responsible for getting to the hotel each morning to ride the bus or paying $30 a day for parking at the hotel.
With all of our social events taking place at the Domain, we would suggest not staying at the hotels West of Mopac Expressway or the Fairfield Inn, as they are not easily walkable.
